Commercial work
Our current commercial examples are seasonal lighting projects. They show building scale, lift access and work around active properties—not permanent-lighting case studies.

The business case
Permanent lighting earns its place by doing more than one job. It improves the property’s everyday appearance and stays ready for the moments when the business wants a different look.
Who we work with
We start with the building and the people who use it, then scope the lighting around the purpose of the project.
A polished evening atmosphere, ready to change for events, holidays and game nights.
A recognizable nighttime presence with colour available for promotions and seasonal moments.
Architectural lines in everyday white, with brand or event colour when the calendar calls for it.
A restrained everyday look with simple scheduling for the people responsible for the property.
A coordinated building-wide approach for shared properties, boards and management teams.
Professional exterior presence for larger properties, with access and operating needs planned in.
Technical confidence
Rocky Mountain Lighting installs Canstar permanent lighting and plans the equipment around the property. The details are confirmed in your project design, not left for your team to figure out after installation.
Explore the Canstar systemUse a true white channel for everyday architectural scenes, with full colour available for selected occasions.
Choose scenes, brightness and schedules from the app, with zones considered where the building layout supports them.
The lighting route, track approach and visible transitions are considered against the building before installation.
Individual lights are replaceable, with three-year Canstar product coverage and separate three-year RML workmanship coverage.

Commercial project questions
Commercial projects are priced around the property and proposed scope—not a universal price per foot. Building size, areas to light, height and access, controls and installation conditions all affect the estimate. We review those details before recommending a scope.
Yes. The RGBW system includes a dedicated white channel, so the building can have a composed architectural-white look for ordinary evenings as well as colour scenes for selected dates.
Yes. We can plan everyday white alongside colour scenes for your brand, holidays, promotions, events or game days. Exact colours and effects depend on the system and layout designed for the property.
The app supports schedules and saved scenes. We confirm how the proposed controls, zones and operating plan will work for the people responsible for the property.
Separate control zones can be considered when planning the layout. We confirm what is supported for the building and selected system before it is included in the project design.
Operating hours, access, deliveries and site activity are part of the project discussion. We confirm a practical installation plan with you before work is scheduled.
The proposed exterior system is selected for year-round use in the Edmonton region. The final design still accounts for the building, mounting conditions, power and the manufacturer’s documented operating requirements.
Building height, ground conditions and lift access are reviewed during planning. Required access equipment and installation conditions are included when the project scope and schedule are prepared.
Yes. Early drawings and construction schedules can help coordinate lighting routes, power and controller locations before finishes are complete. Existing buildings can also be assessed and retrofitted.
Yes. Multi-building and multi-location requests can be discussed. We review the desired coverage, controls and phasing for each property before recommending an approach.
The track is installed along the selected roofline or architectural areas and is visible when the lights are off. We review the building finish and mounting locations during the site assessment so the daytime appearance is part of the plan.
Canstar product coverage is three years, and Rocky Mountain Lighting provides a separate three-year workmanship warranty with free labour on covered replacements during that period. The written warranty documents define coverage, exclusions and service terms.
Yes—plans or property photos can help us understand the building during an initial review. We may still need a site assessment to confirm access, installation conditions and the final scope.
Timing depends on the property, access, scope and site conditions. We discuss scheduling and expected work duration as part of the project plan.
