Orange and purple create an immediately recognizable Halloween display. A small amount of green can be used as an accent without making the colour scheme too busy. Keep the presentation family-friendly — the roofline does the work without any graphic decorations.

These are suggestions, not strict design rules.

Two or three colours are usually enough for a clean roofline. More colours can work for playful holiday displays, but simpler palettes are often better for everyday architectural lighting.

Keep brightness and animation speed neighbour-friendly — a good display looks intentional, not distracting.
